Tama Australia was founded in April 2017 but our roots can be traced back to 1957 when Theo Rossi started the Tapex Company in Waterloo, New South Wales. Under his leadership, Tapex became the first company in the Southern Hemisphere to extrude polypropylene and developed the world’s first synthetic flat strapping. The company went on to lead the charge in developing high-quality polypropylene products for agricultural and industrial applications.
